Dr. Stephen Barrett Sexton, a Memphis native, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1993. He then received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, in 1997. Following this, Dr. Sexton pursued a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He continued his training at the same institution, completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in 2002.
Dr. Sexton has been married for 15 years to his wife, Suzanne, and they have three children.

Dr. Sexton practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in implants, bone graft reconstruction, Cone Beam CT technology, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and maxillofacial pathology and infections.
I was a nervous wreck! Had all 4 wisdom teeth out! I didn’t remember when I fell asleep, but I had ZERO pain when I woke up. Dr. Sexton even called to check on me the next afternoon (no doctor has ever done this). They are good at what they do here! I will recommend them to everyone I know! Everyone at the office couldn’t have been more nice and accommodating. Dr. Sexton is the best Oral Surgeon in Memphis by a mile. Had the procedure yesterday and back at work today with to no discomfort.
