Dr. Stephen Barrett Sexton, a Memphis native, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1993. He then received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, in 1997. Following this, Dr. Sexton pursued a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He continued his training at the same institution, completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in 2002.
Dr. Sexton has been married for 15 years to his wife, Suzanne, and they have three children.

Dr. Sexton practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in implants, bone graft reconstruction, Cone Beam CT technology, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and maxillofacial pathology and infections.
Going to the Dentist or Oral surgeon can be very a scary experience. Dr. Sexton and his entire office staff are very warm, nice and so reassuring. Very professional and relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Sexton and his team made me feel comfortable, not rushed and were thorough in answering all my questions.I had a wisdom tooth removed along with a dental implant in a separate area. I have been compliant with my post operation instructions. We had a really great experience with Dr. Sexton and his staff…he explained everything and checked on my daughter after surgery….highly recommend!
Dr. Sexton removed my sons wisdom teeth over 10 years ago, and now my daughters, he also corrected other issues she had. He is the best! My daughter said her nurse was also greatt during the whole procedure. I spoke to Dr. Weiskopf for a moment and he is very knowledgeable! I love the whole team.
