The front needs a lil people skills workshop!"

"I heard about Dr.Sexton through word of mouth, I have personally only heard great praises of him and his staff. I had to do a last minute wisdom teeth extraction. The staff worked with me to get me in and, I appreciate that so much because I know they are so sought after and busy. The surgery when off without a hitch and I was in and out pretty quick with no complications or pain. The assistant I had named Shemiah was great, I was so anxious and she helped me call down by talking to me the whole time to make me feel like I wasn’t alone. Dr.Sexton also has great bedside manner as well. I would recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery. 10/10 doctors and staff."

"My 15 YO son had all 4 wisdom teeth removed on 10/4/24. Dr. Sexton, Savannah, and Danielle were AMAZING! My son was a little nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Sexton and Savannah made the procedure like a calm relaxing nap. Dr. Sexton also called on day 2 after the surgery to make sure he was not having any pain and there was no complications. "Needed fourth teeth pulled, three of them being wisdom teeth. Sexton was originally booked for almost two months in advance for a consult, but after being put on a cancelation wait list, I was able to be seen within two weeks of my original booking. After the consult, things professed fairly fast and my appointment was made two weeks later to get the teeth extracted. Sexton's staff and surgeons were very pleasant the entire time and their customer service skills were excellent. I'm a very anxious person and they did a great job with preoperative small talk to calm my nerves. They give you a very detailed handout with what you should and shouldn't do after surgery which I thought was super nice. All in all, I have nothing negative to say about Sexton, it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an oral surgeon in the Memphis area, this should be your first and only stop!"

They are aware of some of the painkillers having addictive effects which is comforting and they have options to avoid those drugs. They even have an optional follow up 2 weeks later if you are concerned about something too. I’m glad I went here for my removal"
"I got a broken molar tooth extracted and a new tooth implanted in this office. It is a process took several months, in which I am impressed with the kindness and good quality of work done by people here, especially by Dr. Sexton. It's a clean office.in a nice area..it's never a long wait to be seen..the staff was friendly & explained everything to you.. I can't say I'm looking forward to the surgery but I feel comfortable after just a consult with having him to do it.. I made it thru the surgery..the staff made sure I got safely to my waiting driver & ride with instructions on after care The staff was attentive caring & calmed my anxiety before the surgery with music to my liking, encouraging words & laughter Dr.Sexton is a THE BEST ORAL SURGERY DENTIST & my 1st hopefully only.. If I ever needed any more work done I'd be pleased to have him.. He takes great pride in his work & the care of his patients.. He called me after work hours himself to see how I was after surgery.. That was so important & made me feel great even tho I was in alot of pain... If you need Oral Surgery consider this facility.. I was'nt happy having to pay out of pocket on a portion of the surgery when I was told there would be no hidden or additional cost..But it does not take away from the staff being nice & friendly.. a clean office or the fact that Dr.Sexton is a great Oral Surgeon that cares about the work he does on his patients"

However due to the anesthesia I received I didn't feel any pain. Dr Sexton spoke to my family member after the procedure. Family said the Dr was great, gave clear instructions , and he has a warm friendly demeanor. That evening Dr Sexton called me and my family member to see how I was doing? "Not going to lie, I was mortified about having my wisdom teeth surgically removed. I also (stupidly) watched a video of it. But all of my fears were for nothing. The whole staff is super sweet and very calming. Even helped make me laugh a little to ease me into everything. And Dr. Sexton? The smoothest dental doctor I have ever met. I only remember him setting up the IV and talking a little bit about my best friend who is a dental technician, and how she already scolded me for watching a video. I think we said a couple more things. But I dont even remember falling asleep! And man, when they woke me up they were much nicer than I could've ever expected. All in all, I will forever reccomend Sexton Oral Surgery. Everyone is beyond amazing. I dont even know why I was so worried before, it seems so trivial now. Thank you all so very much.
