"Super nice people ! I went to the Memphis office and the staff and Dr.Russ were all very professional and friendly ! I have really..really bad Dental anxiety and they made me feel very comfortable ! Dr. Russ was extremely thorough with explaining everything to me and was understanding of my anxiety and my level of pain. The lady that assisted him in my evaluation was extremely nice and professional as well ! The office is easy to find and very nice looking ! I highly recommend them !!"

"I had two wisdom teeth surgically removed on Thursday, January 22, 2026, by Dr. Mathew Russ at Sexton and Weiskopf Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience.From start to finish, the staff was kind, calming, and professional. I was very nervous going in, but the sedation and anxiety care were excellent ā I felt relaxed, safe, and completely at ease the entire time.What truly touched my heart was how Dr. Russ went above and beyond. After my surgery, he personally walked out to my husbandās truck to explain everything, answer his questions, and make sure he felt comfortable. On top of that, Dr. Russ personally called to check on me later that day and again the next day to make sure I was doing well. That level of care is rare.My recovery has been smooth with minimal pain and swelling, which really speaks to his skill and precision.If you need an oral surgeon and youāre feeling anxious or unsure, I highly recommend Dr. Mathew Russ and the team at Sexton and Weiskopf. "I had a great experience during my consultation and wisdom teeth extraction surgery with Dr. Russ. Dr.Russ was very thorough, kind, and patient during the consultation. He carefully answered my questions and explained what would occur during the extraction. The day of the procedure, I arrived nervous but was reassured and comforted throughout the process. The medical staff and Dr. Russ were great. Their beside manners were wonderful and I felt safe from the moment I sat in the chair. Iām one day post procedure with minimal pain and swelling. I would say this is a win for a 38 yr old lady who had 3 extractions! Thank you to Dr. Russ and team for providing excellent care. Bu my safety comes first. He is getting my Drs ok. I am so grateful to have found Dr Russ to place my trust in. God Bless ! The surgery was Monday 21,25. Due to my health he's doing in 2 sessions. Monday, the top was amazing, I don't remember or felt anything! This is Wednesday , the pain control medication regimn he's had me on is totally working. Not shed as tear. Eating ice pops to help the swelling and pain. Sleeping all night. I would recommend Dr Russ, Oral Surgeon to anyone that feared this procedure as much as I did. I t s been a breeze. It's been 11 days since the top teeth were removed. I have to admit it's been a fairly pain-free time. Monday I have the bottom removed. I understand there is more to be corrected with the jaw bone, it may cause more discomfort than the top. Dr Russ is so gentle during the procedure I didn't have bruises."
